Glen Eldridge
Architects Ltd was established in 2003 by Glen Eldridge in Chelmsford, Essex. After many years in private practice he wished to found a practice based around his experience and architectural
ideas in order to experiment further with various principles, which are the backbone of the office philosophy. This includes
the implementation of good modern architecture within a suitable contextual environment.
Glen Eldridge RIBA, Director
Glen was born locally and has practiced within the area for over 10 years. Glen has been a chartered member of the
RIBA since 1996 and has over 16 years experience in private practice. Glen was educated at Canterbury College of Art, School of Architecture, qualifying with a Diploma of Architecture.
Glen has led design teams in the development of a number of major projects nationwide. These range from large residential
developments, both new build and conversions, to infill projects, both commercial and residential, some of these on delicate
sites. Previous offices include Graham Leonard Associates Ltd, Robert Hutson
Architects (Acanthus Group), Andrews Downey and Partners and Norman and Dawbarn Associates.
Owen Trevor RIBA, Associate
Owen met Glen whilst working for Graham Leonard Associates and due to a mutual interest in similar architectural philosophies
assisted to found Glen
Eldridge Architects
Ltd. Owen joined Graham Leonard Associates Ltd after qualifying from The Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, The Robert
Gordon University, Aberdeen where he achieved a post graduate diploma in advanced architectural studies with Scottish Architectural
history, with distinction. Owen qualified as an Architect in 2002.
In Owen’s 5 years professional experience he has worked on social housing, large residential projects, factory
units, small residential extensions and landscaping.
Emily Huckel,
Architectural Technician
Emily is generally responsible for the formulation and creation of both Planning and Working drawings packages. In addition to this, she administrates projects within our Small Works sector. Emily has been working within the industry for 5 years, having qualified from Anglia Polytechnic University with a degree in Architectural Design Technology.
Alicia Katz, Office Manager
Alicia is the first point of contact within our organization. She is in charge of customer care and quality control. Alicia is proficient in all the main administrative computer software and is a fluent
Spanish speaker.
